The hotel experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. My room was not cleaned properly upon arrival, with a half roll of toilet paper and rubbish from the previous guest. Breakfast was subpar, featuring stale bread and rock-hard poached eggs, and when I requested more coffee, the wait was excessively long.

Perfect for exploring the Highlands!
We had a fab time here! Michael was super friendly and gave us the best tips for hikes. The full breakfast was a real treat, especially the bacon and eggs. Plus, there’s a cozy lounge area to chill with other guests. One thing though, the rooms felt a bit dated, but honestly, it didn’t bother us much.

The lodge has a cute building and cozy areas to
Meet fellow travelers, though the furnishings seem a bit worn. My room was spacious and clean, but the decor definitely needs a refresh. The staff were very accommodating regardless of the aging ambiance.

It was just a strong match for resting at all in Gairloch with fantastic value. The receptionist offered us a refund after we complained about our outdated room, which was a nice touch. Avoid expecting too much from breakfast. it's better to eat out nearby.

I really enjoyed the charming lounge area with games to relax after a long day out. The location has stunning views, and it’s a great spot for exploring the surrounding areas. The bed in my room was comfortable, which was a plus. breakfast left much to be desired. The options were very limited, and the execution was poor. I remember hoping for some fresh fruit or a decent cooked option, but that was not the case. The staff were friendly, but the breakfast organization seemed off.
